8TH OCTOBER 2015 – ANOTHER WINNING NIGHT FOR IT SECURITY
Results from the 2015 Computing Security Awards were revealed on 8th October. Former England cricket captain, Chris Cowdrey, was Master of Ceremonies for the evening event held at London’s Hotel Russell. Comedian, Josh Daniels, and Event Manager, Dave Bonner, assisted Chris in presenting the awards.
Some new categories were introduced this year to recognise some important services that have not featured historically in these awards. .ADISA was voted “Education and Training Provider of the Year.” Sims Recycling Solutions became the “Secure Data Erasure Company of the Year” and Evolution Recruitment Solutions were crowned “Security Recruitment Company of the Year.”
In the hugely competitive “Enterprise Security Solution of the Year” category, the award went to Darktrace for its Enterprise Immune System. Corey Nachreiner of WatchGuard won the Personal Contribution to IT Security Award. Celestix picked up both the “Editors Choice” and the “New Product of the Year” awards. Titania were also a double-winner as they followed up their success in the “Network Security Solution of the Year” category by becoming the “Security Company of the Year.”
